I'm Patrick Teskey, a third-generation visual storyteller based in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada.
I strive to find the extraordinary in the everyday.
Since you've come this far, let me tell you a little more about myself.
I grew up as the middle of five children in Toronto, Ontario.
The exploits of my grandfather, former Toronto Star Reporter-Photographer Frank Teskey, were a common dinner-table conversation. Eventually, I inherited his Nikon F camera and his love for photography.
I'm a print journalist by trade, and much of my initial photography experience came from my time with the Hay River Hub and Innisfail Province (now the Albertan) newspapers.
I've continued to hone my photography skills over the last decade and a half, and recently completed a Professional Photography Certificate from the Canadian Photography School.
